Donovian's 10 Month update!

Believe it or not, No video for this update. By the time I can get my camera out Donovian stops everything he was doing (lol). Maybe I'll get lucky soon and catch most of what he's been doing.


He points alot now, and he's been waving at people but now he'll wave at ANYTHING. He wakes up waving at me, his teddy bear whatever is near him. HE LOVES to dance, IT doesn't matter what type of song it is. He dances, on beat too (lol). A few days ago, he even partially pottied? (lol) yeah. So we're making progress. I just hope I don't have too hard of a time with the potty training process. This Sunday, will be Donovian's FIRST easter. We plan on having a easter egg hunt, my bestfriend will be bringing her son over too. I'll put those pictures in with Donovian's 11 month update video. I came up with the bright idea of dressing up with bunny ears (we'll see how that goes lol)


For the first time I can't think of anything to really say. He does so MUCH! There's nothing that he's NOT doing right now. He can climb on beds, brushes his teeth, other peoples teeth, shakes his head NO, YES. Donovian is just moving right along. Before you know it I won't have to keep this up anymore because He'll be so up to par I can just tell him about the things he used to do. If you all have any questions, please feel free to do so.

Donovian's 9 month update!

He is now 30 inches and weighs 21 lbs 14 oz :)


At this point there is nothing Donovian Cannot do. Something I've never really mentioned on my blog, are Donovian's appointments. Reason being, still til this day since the day he was born. I've pretty much cried at EVERY appointment. I HATE when he gets his shots. Luckily he's never gotten a cold from any of his shots. Speaking of being sick, he actually has his first cold right now :(

It's probably because his two top teeth are trying to come in. (One has already come in) USusally he has no problem teething but these two top ones are really bothering him :/ It's actually very common (from what I've been told) For children to run a temperature and become sick while teething. So I'm not too worked up about his little cold. But I have been giving him something to keep his temp down and to keep his nose from running so much.

On a brighter note, Donovian is walking ALLL over the place. He crawls up the stairs now too. He also has the concept of talking on the phone even using an Ipod/Ipad. Sometimes it can be a comb, and he'll put it to his ear. Alot of times he says "da-da" OTher times he'll wait for YOU to say "hello" Either way it goes everything goes to his ear if he's not putting it in his mouth. As for the Ipods he will do so much as to twirl his finger in circular motion or use his thumb, press and hold down keys. I think I have a really neat one on my hands too (lol) he likes to clean. He'll pick a broom or anything that looks similar to it and will slide it back and forth like he's running the sweeper. Last but not least. He LOVES to change the channel and when he can't, he becomes very frustrated (lol) Maybe next time I'll catch that too on camera.


His video is up on Youtube so you can see the many things he's been doing lately. I'am very proud of him. He's a very fast learner, walking at 8, well now he's officially 9 months who would've thought.

Donovian's First Valentine's Day

While I had a photoshoot in mind for today. That, didn't work out. But, I do plan on doing one with Donovian soon. Seeing how the last time we had professional pictures taken together he was only a few weeks old. Im trying to complete his photo album and start a scrapbook too.

Donovian's 8 month Update!

I can't believe how fast he is growing up! Before you know it, he'll be in school! (lol) Donovian is doing SO much now. Very talkative (even though it's gibberish, It still counts) He's actually taking a good amount of steps. Pulls up on everything, walks across or onto anything he can get into/onto. He's putting hiself to sleep now. Once he's had two bottles (hungry self, lol) he will literally move the bottle away from him turn on his stomach put his lil butt in the air and call it a NAP. Anything you do, he will try to do it too.

My mom was snapping her fingers the other day, & although he didn't quite get it. He was pretty close, he HATES baby food (lol) porkchops, steaks, baked potatoes. That's more like it for him. He uses his hands to self feed hiself. Very into cartoons, will even move you, or hiself around or out of the way to see what's going on, on t.v. He LOVES to dance, and only to certain songs (lol) I try to get it on my camera. But he tends to do everything off camera (figures) Donovian is STILL crawling into the bathroom, into any room for that matter. He can even crawl up the stairs now. HE only has two bottom teeth right now, but in the video clearly his brushing them. It's never too early for dental hygiene :) Pretty soon, from the looks of it. He will most def have two at the top in a matter of months as well as a couple more at the bottom.


Overall, he is healty, happy, energetic and a super super fast learner. NEVER had a diaper rash, NEVER been sick (pats self on the back) At times he makes me want to pull my hair out! (lol) But, I love him to pieces. He makes me have baby blues sometimes, not even going to lie. BUT! no more for me. Donovian has my heart, always will. Donovian's 7 Month Update!

Donovian is a HANDFUL now. I remember always telling everyone. "I can't wait til he's talking" "I can't wait til he starts crawling" "when will he do SOMETHING"? But, they kept saying. Don't rush it. (lol) At first I was like whatever, IM READY. Now? I understand everything they told me. He keeps everyone on their toes and laughing. So, at the same time. I can't say I don't enjoy it. AT times It can be frustrating though :/ because I'm ALWAYS trying to get alot done. Especially after work, It can be a lil overwhelming to say the LEAST.(lol) just being honest. Im def working on MY patience though.

For the most part, not TOO much more has happened since christmas. He's still crawling everywhere, he now will take steps while standing up holding onto anything. He can actually stand by hiself for minutes at a time too. But, he's not taking steps alone, only when he has something to guide him along the way. (he's trying to eat something as we speak) lol!

He crawls out of my room into my sisters room ANYTIME she has her music on. HE's quick too! Health wise he's fine. They claim he's BIGGER in size than most 7 months olds. But leave it to the doctors to tell you something right? All kids are different, they learn different, and they all grow differently. So what-evv to that! (lol)

I'll be posting a video as I always do. Just cute & crazy things I catch him doing throughout the day.

Donovian's First Christmas!

Donovian had a really good Christmas. Most times I go into detail about what he did or what he's doing, or what he got. But, If you haven't already read my 5-6 month blog I wrote about him. Because since then, other than him standing alone by himself now. (which is no longer than 30 seconds) lol! He's not doing too many new tricks as of right now.

I added a couple of pictures in the video, So you can see for yourself the things he got on Christmas! So take care. The next blog will be his 7 month update! Time is flyyyinnng by!

Donovian's 5-6 Month update!

This blog is SUPER late. But I haven't had much down time to really blog or make any new videos. I was originally going to just combine Thanksgiving and Christmas together. But since I'm at it now, I thought to just go ahead and share what I have now.

For starters, Donovian is no longer 5 months. (lol) He is six months old now. Waving, sitting up by hiself, crawling, mocking & pulling up on ANYTHING he can get his hands on and trying to walk already. He was taking to baby food for a while. Now Donovian pretty much eats what everyone else is eating. But, because there are still certain foods he really shouldn't eat. Im starting him on Gerber Graduate food. They have yogurt melt bites, breakfast bowls, lil hotdogs (lol) Pretty much everything. He loves it!


Wellll, that is just about it! He's moving right along. Oh yeah, His two bottom teeth are almost in! and they are SHARP! (lol)I should, hopefully. Have Donovian's six month update up before New years (take it or leave it lol) He's such a handful now crawling and getting into everything, and even on my off days Im still busy most of the time runnin around, getting things done. So bare with me! I hope you all enjoy the Thanksgiving video I post up of him.

One last thing, I've been promising a postpartum video of where my weight is and how look NOW. So be on the look out for that as well. & look who's wearing their REAL hair now (LOL) mwah!
