Novs First workshop

It is so fun working at Home Depot. I love the fact that they have these little workshops. I got lucky and had a Saturday off. So, today I was able to take him to one. They made a Football toss game.

First, I went to the Home Depot in riverdale (it's closer) but, comes out that they only allow kids 5-12 at their workshops. He still got an apron, a pin &  the toss game kit. We left there and headed to my Home Depot. He had a field day hammering. (Lol) he got to paint and got another pin. :)

Novis first movie

While most parents take their babies to the movies, as.. Babies (lol) I know my child well enough to know he wasn't going to enjoy nor pay any attention to the movies. But, but late than never. (Lol) the very first movie he ever saw was "Epic" it as a really good movie! 

Donovian's First haircut

After finally getting tired of taking an additional 20 mins or so to do his hair everyday. I said "it is time" not to mention the girl comments and awkward stares. A lot of people thought I had a little girl dressed up as a boy. (Lol) ridiculous i know, but its true!!

Novi's Second Birthday!!:)

I had no idea what to do for Donovians second birthday. I knew I didn't want to take him to another kids arcade. Since Monkey joes was so expensive and Novi didn't really like getting on anything alone at the time. So one day at Walmart, not Even a few weeks before his bday. A guy gave me his business card and it was history from there. I got a cotton candy machine, a bouncer, tables, chairs, and a snow cone maker. The theme was spongebob and he had a blast. Passed out once everyone went home for the day. Here's pictures start to finish on his day :)

Novi's First time at the Underground

He ran, and ran and ran. (Lol) I wanted him to see what it was like to ride on a train, so we went on MARTA. He wasn't too fond of that (lol) But, overall he enjoyed himself. In the past when I've gone, I would always get pictures taken with the owls. Unfortunately, he didn't get a chance to, reason being they only do that on the weekends. (Which I rarely  get off from work) maybe next time though :) 

Novi's Second Valentines day

He had a bunch of Valentines baskets from me and my family. He had so much fun opening them and making a mess of course, & last but not least enjoying tons of chocolate. :) 

Novi'a First/second Dentist Appt :)

His very first time visiting the dentist he met him a little girlfriend (lol) & his second dentist Appointment. (At two years old) he was more into the video genes, boys... (Lol) He's always brushing his teeth and both visits went well. 

Novi's First Family Reunion

Not only was this his first family reunion. It was also his first time visiting MY hometown. :) he had a ball. While in the pool he fell asleep on me (lol) passed out after the dance later on that night. &'he met his cousin Kennedy (she was born a day him) for the first time. It's always fun being around family and having a good time. 

 

Novi's First and Second Easter

Im putting these two together, since apparently I never post his first Easter? Which is odd, seeing how it's all over facebook and all my other social networks. His very first Easter, we did the traditional Easter egg dying and we even had an Easter egg hunt. My bestfriend and her babyboy Hayden joined us. I can NOT find his easter pictures! Their in his photo album, :( but I've checked ever FB album I have possible and couldn't find them :( So I may have to post those at a Later date. Luckily, I have pictures from his second easter. I had to work his second Easter. But I let him open some easter baskets and got these cute pictures before I went :)

Catch up

Soooooo much has happened, is happening, will happen. I have not been posting much due to some issues I'm having with my laptop. It's my ONLY means of editing videos. BUT, I will still make an effort to post and finish where we left off. There just won't be any videos. Novi has had his second dentist appt., turned two, gotten a hair cut, lots of things. & because I have OCD they will be in the order they happened. Just bare with me. Everything will now be posted from my good ole handy ipad mini. I can't wait to share everything & get back to blogging. I've also opened my shop back up. So lots to do! Talk to you all again soon.

Novi Dancing to MJ Experience on the Wii + Lost footage

Like they say practice makes perfect. (lol) Soon as he hears the song, he already knows what dance routine is what. I'm glad I finally caught it on camera. The move he tries to do from Smooth Criminal trips me out every time! Donovian picks up on everything so quickly. Yes those are Mr. Potato head glasses he had on. He always takes the pieces and puts them on himself. If you listen closely you'll hear him say "bye" He's been saying "Hi" and "Hello" for a while. Now, he's finally saying "Bye" Going through old videos I HAD to share the last video one of him at only a few months. I had no idea he waved at the camera at the end until now. :) Keep in touch! Christmas With Novi 2012 + 19 Month Update

What is Donovian NOT doing? (lol) Everyday, he says or does something that just amazes me. He is very advanced for his age. He can count and say a few of his ABC's right now. Of course, not to any perfect order (lol) But it's always when HE wants to. Spongebob is his favorite right now, he can sing the whole song. Along with Mickey Mouse clubhouse. We can be out and if he see's something that resembles either one of the shows, including Jake and the Never land pirates. He immediately yells it out. He does say "mama" "maw" and "nana" and at times calls us by our real names too (lol). Which if he hears it, he'll say it, kids are mocking birds. He LOOVEEES to say Kaetlin (my sisters name) & My boyfriend Alex is "Da Da" He's been calling him that since day one. Potty training is actually coming along pretty good. I got him one for Christmas and he will actually let you know if not get on by himself. Again, when Donovian feels like it (lol) He likes to dress himself too, as I type this he has on some blue shorts over top of his Pajama pants, (lol) so yea. I love how caring he is, last but not least his manners. It's always "thank you" & "excuse me" It's all about repetition, the more they hear you say it, the more they'll start to do so as well. He's a hugger, he'll kiss you, rub your face, your arm. Also, acts soon as someone is hurt. Donovian overall is just a joy to be around and I love every second with him, good and BAD (lol) Nothing like watching your baby grow up. Donovian's Second year Trick-or-treating :)

Donovian was Jake this Halloween. He loves Jake and the Never land pirate! If you've been following my blog since last year. Then you know he was Superman last year (lol) He acted just the same as he did at only four months on Halloween. Just laid back, and when he didn't like something made a face or some type of noise (lol) It kicked my butt, I know for sure. But once we got back home and start going through candy he went right back in to HYPE mode. I'm praying next year he's really excited about it. I thought it would be easier too since he's walking this year. But, (lol) Donovian likes to chase after things and gets distracted too easily to just follow along beside me. He's also not to fond of holding my hand sometimes :( Just too independent for his own good. As always :) I put together a video of how it went. Not much of an ending. Once we were done, I was so ready to get home I didn't remember to record us getting into the house. & Isn't it weird he got MORE candy last year than he did this year (smh) I hope you all enjoy this video Talk to you all soon :) -bunnyy xo

Pumpkin Carving gone WRONG (lol) :)

The pumpkin may not have been perfect. But it was really fun to do. I plan on getting a bigger pumpkin, which will probably be a ton easier to do versus that super small pumpkin I got Novi (lol) Here's MY step by step video, just showing you all how it went our very first time carving a pumpkin :) Don't forget to Guess Donovian's costume this year. Donovian's Second Time at the Fairburn Festival

We're back! (never went anywhere) lol! I feel like I haven't blogged in years! Donovian is doing well. Super smart, super fun and energetic. Loves kids and most importantly ME. (bats eyelashes) I don't even know where to begin. But I will try my best to continue blogging. It's a little hard now, since Donovian is into everything. Then soon as I pull out my camera the fun stops (lol) So What I'll be posting is what I've been able to catch, luckily. Last year when we went to this parade, which they've been having since I was in High School. Donovian couldn't even walk. Maybe he was about 3 months or so. But he LOVED it, this year he chased after girls, barked at dogs and would embarrass me by taking off and running full speed while I chased him with HIS stoller (lol) We didn't stay long this year either. Once the parade was over, I think he was over it completely (lol) Here's the video of the parade and pictures here and there. I hope all is well with those who have been reading my blog sine day one. Donovian's One year Update!

Time flew by, Donovian is already one. But like they always say "Age ain't nothing but a number" (lol) Donovian has been doing things at 4 and 5 months that most kids do not do until they're one. He makes me so proud.

He has this new thing he does when you ask him how old he is, he'll put one finger up. (you'll see it at the end of his new video)

I contemplated on what I was going to do once he reached one. As far as my blog, and I want to contintue to blog. He's only one and there is so much more that he will do. I won't promise a monthly blog. But until Donovian starts pre-k I want to keep this blog up and share my experience as a first time Mother with you all.

This won't be the last you see of Donovian, so as we go through the potty training phase and getting him off of the bottles and formula completely. You'll know all about it.

Speaking of which, he's on and off with the potty. But just like his pediatrician told me. "he's still young" So I guess between now and before he hits two we will be working on that. As for the bottles & formula, he can be on a sippy cup all day and he takes to whole milk. So that's been a breeze, I did however, slip him a bottle at night a few times. (opps) lol! He says "Thank you" alot. One day we were downstairs and were eating breakfast, I told him to say thank you after I gave him some of what I had, and he did it. At first it shocked me but ever since then I just continue to say it all the time and now It's none stop "thank you" (lol)

Donovian's 11 month Update! :)

Last month I didn't have a video to post. If you knew how busy Donovian is now you'd know why (lol) Luckily, I've been doing much better at always keeping my camera close by and ready for whatever he may do next.


This month I'll be trying to get him off of the bottle and more prone to drinking. What will no longer be formula milk, but whole milk from a sippy cup. (Dr's orders) I fear the potty training days most! Pray for us (lol)


He's still in good health. Besides the fact he got his first "childhood virus" Roseola, to be specific. Looks close to chicken pox. Red spots all over :/ It was no fun seeing him like that. It also came with a really high temp of 103.5. So he's made a hospital visit since last month. But! He is just fine now :)


Donovian is still a talker, walking has turned into running. He even hides now, unfortunetly he's not that good of a hider YET. (lol) It's still funny to act like your looking for him. Lately Donovian has been extremely clingy "Momma's boy" to say the least. He's very overprotective and also very loving. He'll hug you and pat you on the back like an old man. One day I'll have to get that too on film.

I have a video up this time. I even threw in some pictures of his first Easter which he shared with my BFF's son Hayden. Which if you watch my videos you're familiar with who he is now. Also, his FIRST dentist appointment. So alot has happened since last month, and you all get to see ALL of it!

I just want to thank everyone who has read my blogs from the first day I found out I was pregnant, until now. It means alot, and I appreciate you for taking time out to tune in, read my blogs, and watch our videos. His 12 month video will be pretty fun. I'll be filming him on his FIRST BIRTHDAY!!!! :)


It will be at Monkey Joes. They have these packets that come with: face painting, goody bags, balloons, themes (car 2 the movie) etc. & of course Donovian's them will be CARS, everything I've bought for him is cars (lol) Go figure. Donovian's 10 Month update!

Believe it or not, No video for this update. By the time I can get my camera out Donovian stops everything he was doing (lol). Maybe I'll get lucky soon and catch most of what he's been doing.


He points alot now, and he's been waving at people but now he'll wave at ANYTHING. He wakes up waving at me, his teddy bear whatever is near him. HE LOVES to dance, IT doesn't matter what type of song it is. He dances, on beat too (lol). A few days ago, he even partially pottied? (lol) yeah. So we're making progress. I just hope I don't have too hard of a time with the potty training process. This Sunday, will be Donovian's FIRST easter. We plan on having a easter egg hunt, my bestfriend will be bringing her son over too. I'll put those pictures in with Donovian's 11 month update video. I came up with the bright idea of dressing up with bunny ears (we'll see how that goes lol)


For the first time I can't think of anything to really say. He does so MUCH! There's nothing that he's NOT doing right now. He can climb on beds, brushes his teeth, other peoples teeth, shakes his head NO, YES. Donovian is just moving right along. Before you know it I won't have to keep this up anymore because He'll be so up to par I can just tell him about the things he used to do. If you all have any questions, please feel free to do so.

Donovian's 9 month update!

He is now 30 inches and weighs 21 lbs 14 oz :)


At this point there is nothing Donovian Cannot do. Something I've never really mentioned on my blog, are Donovian's appointments. Reason being, still til this day since the day he was born. I've pretty much cried at EVERY appointment. I HATE when he gets his shots. Luckily he's never gotten a cold from any of his shots. Speaking of being sick, he actually has his first cold right now :(

It's probably because his two top teeth are trying to come in. (One has already come in) USusally he has no problem teething but these two top ones are really bothering him :/ It's actually very common (from what I've been told) For children to run a temperature and become sick while teething. So I'm not too worked up about his little cold. But I have been giving him something to keep his temp down and to keep his nose from running so much.

On a brighter note, Donovian is walking ALLL over the place. He crawls up the stairs now too. He also has the concept of talking on the phone even using an Ipod/Ipad. Sometimes it can be a comb, and he'll put it to his ear. Alot of times he says "da-da" OTher times he'll wait for YOU to say "hello" Either way it goes everything goes to his ear if he's not putting it in his mouth. As for the Ipods he will do so much as to twirl his finger in circular motion or use his thumb, press and hold down keys. I think I have a really neat one on my hands too (lol) he likes to clean. He'll pick a broom or anything that looks similar to it and will slide it back and forth like he's running the sweeper. Last but not least. He LOVES to change the channel and when he can't, he becomes very frustrated (lol) Maybe next time I'll catch that too on camera.


His video is up on Youtube so you can see the many things he's been doing lately. I'am very proud of him. He's a very fast learner, walking at 8, well now he's officially 9 months who would've thought.
